Accommodations

For SCMB-supported participants:

SCMB has funding to fully or partially support participants, and priority in allocation will be given to graduate students, postdocs, and junior researchers, including tenure-track faculty, and especially to those presenting posters.   If you are funded, we will reserve a room for you for Monday, January 28th at the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel located at 866 West Peachtree Street Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30308.  

We ask that all attendees, including those supported by SCMB, pay the registration fee upon registration. We expect to make a travel support decision by January 11, 2019, and will contact those who've applied for support then.   If applicants don't receive the support they were hoping for, they can then cancel and be refunded their registration fee.

Note: Fully-funded participants will be asked to share rooms.
 
NOTE:  The Symposium is taking place the week before the Superbowl so there will be limited room availability.   Please book early.

Driving directions

From the airport take I-85 N. As you're traveling through downtown, take exit 249D W Peachtree St. Merge onto Linden Ave. NW. Turn left at W Peachtree St. NW and proceed .6 miles. The Renaissance Atlanta Midtown is at 866 West Peachtree Street NW.
