Our funding
The Southeast Center for Mathematics and Biology (SCMB) is one of four NSF-Simons Research Centers for Mathematics of Complex Biological Systems (MathBioSys). The other three are the Center for Mathematical and Statistical Analysis of Biology at Harvard University, the Center on Multiscale Cell Fate at the University of California, Irvine, and the Center for Quantitative Biology at Northwestern University.
Our location
SCMB is headquartered at the Georgia Institute of Technology (commonly known as Georgia Tech) in Atlanta, GA, and has six partner institutions around the southeastern United States — Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, TN; Tulane University in New Orleans, LA; the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL; the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL; Clemson University in Clemson, SC; and Duke University in Durham, NC.
