Congratulations to Daniel Cruz (a postdoctoral scholar working with Elena Dimitrova & Melissa Kemp on SCMB’s “Seed Project” titled: Modeling emergent patterning within pluripotent colonies through Boolean canalizing functions).  Daniel won a Poster Prize at the Annual Society of Mathematical Biology (SMB) meeting, hosted virtually June 13 – 17, 2021 (Riverside, CA).  Daniel’s poster is titled “Agent-based Modeling of Emergent Patterns Within Stem Cell Colonies”.
